A couple months ago this writerapos;s block Iapos;ve been dealing with for a long time seemed to have just disappeared. Is that when things started going bad for Becca? I can imagine God playing a cruel joke like that since Becca loved the first two books and was always asking me about the new book whenever Iapos;d visit her. If given the choice Iapos;d struggle with writerapos;s block for the rest of my life and not finish the book if it meant Becca was still alive. Fuck, Iapos;d erase the manuscript file right now and never write a single word again if it would bring her back. The world wouldnapos;t miss it if I stopped writing. I know, Becca would want me to finish the book and Iapos;d be doing her memory a disservice by not finishing it. Maybe now I have more motivation than ever to see this through, even though I didnapos;t really need it and didnapos;t ask for the extra motivation.

I didn't know anything about NAFTA besides having heard the name. A few post have mentioned the presentation being a little one sided and I agree.� I do think the NAFTA presentation was a little bias against America. That kind of goes back to what we were talking about a few weeks ago about working with the media and presenting ALL the information, not just the info that helps prove your point because the audience then feels cheated and is less likely to trust what they've heard. Overall it was a good example of a learning network and how people organize and share information with each other.

In our blog group we had a pretty hard time defining leadership within a learning network. What I took away from our discussion was that the leadership was there to motivate, rather than punish. We also talked about whether or not a family was a learning network. I think a family definitely can be a learning network. In my family, now that my brother and I are older, my parents don't punish us anymore... But we still all share information and learn from each other.

Jack smelled the smoke the moment he got out of his truck.� From across the yard, he could see that every window in the house was open, the front door ajar, the smoke detector blaring.�

Jack dropped his bags and raced across the driveway.� He paused at the open door, trying to catch his breath.� Smoke permeated the kitchen.� There was flour on the floor, flour on the walls, flour on the ceiling.� Two burned cake tins sat on the stove.� And there Ennis stood, glaring and cussing.������
